I have a Bachelor’s degree in Photography (Surrey Institute of Art & Design, UK), a Masters from Education (University of Helsinki, Finland) and received a PhD degree in Education (University of Oulu, Finland).
I work as a post-doctoral research fellow for the universities of Helsinki (70%) and Oulu (30%).
My broad research interests include everyday life, aesthetics, human - environment relations (post-humanism) and qualitative methodology.
I am a proud mother of two and passionate about beauty in everyday life, gardening and vegetarian cooking.
